The Secrets of Aleister Crowley

“Amado Crowley was a child deliberately created as a vessel for the handing on of his father's craft: Magick.

During the years he was permitted to know Aleister Crowley he received an extraordinary education, culminating in initiation by his father. In carrying this legacy, throughout his adult life he has hidden himself from the attentions of the jealous, the prejudiced and the state. With good reason.

More than forty years after his death Aleister Crowley is still reviled with all the emotional fervour of agitprop, but the effort is heaped on discrediting the man, whilst his teaching is largely ignored.

Why?

If Magick is so very dangerous just who, or which section of society, would be threatened by its survival and growth?

And if Crowley was so very dangerous just who, or which section of society, still feels threatened by him? His son knows.”

The Riddles of Aleister Crowley

“In this second book, Amado Crowley digs deeper into the work of his famous father, shedding new light on many wicked scandals.

The scope ranges from the Abbey of Thelema in Sicily to the abdication of Edward VIII, for Aleister Crowley was the most potent magician of his era. He influenced events which are still evolving today.

This book has something to say on modern issues too. Where does occultism stand on Feminism? What is its view on Homosexuals? Which power is it that lets us heal the ills of others? Schooled by his father in person, the son speaks with proper authority.

Since the first book was written, there have been many letters which back up Amado's story. Not only has he met the Devil – he has even had contact with the O.T.O.!

Amado aims to cut away all creeps and creepers. He teaches Crowleyan magic in its purest, strongest form: in exactly the same way that his father taught him!”

The Wrath of Aleister Crowley

“This is Amado's third and final book on the true teachings of his father, Aleister Crowley. Amongst an intriguing array of topics he tackles:

- the question of who really controls our material world;
- complacence over the steady corruption of human souls;
- the chilling implications of secret wartime experiments in electronics;
- the way in which sex and magic are linked;
- the question of what is True Occultism;

And he roundly challenges the spiritual bankruptcy of those Occult Societies which posture as the guardians of Aleister Crowley's teachings whilst ignoring the true authority of his son – hence the title of this book: THE WRATH OF ALEISTER CROWLEY.”

Lewd Ghosts

“This is not a nice book! I have to admit that parts of it get quite nasty. I don't apologise because I have my reasons.

For one thing: people resemble those very old houses, with attics that are locked, and cellars that have been boarded up. It can be quite a jolt when someone opens a door or a window, and lets in some light and fresh air. It takes a shock like that to realize that there are corners which have never been swept. There is darkness in those corners. And in the darkness … something moves!

For another thing: there are the matters of sex and magic. Both of these are very interesting. Most people are secretly fascinated by them. Yet both — together or separately — are very touchy subjects in Britain. Indeed, they are so extremely controversial, you might say they are almost taboo.

If ever we do talk about these subjects — horror, sex and magic — we do it in damp, dusty, distant voices as if we were paddling in the sewers. God forbid that you should lick your lips or let your eyes twinkle. You are not supposed to have any interest! Why is that I wonder?

Horror is a product of our own minds.
Sex is something we all do.
And magic?”

Quest Magic

“For hundreds of years an old faith had to be foxy. It was being harried by a new, organized religion that had political ambitions. So it turned to symbols and shielded its truths under the mask of conversion. The light was hidden and became known as Occultism.

Today, some people find history more existing than life and they turn Occultism into lurid entertainment. At heart they like cloak-and-dagger intrigue so the mythical padding and the external display have become more important than truth. They are locked in mystery and have lost the key.

In this book it is Amado Crowley's task to peel off the ornament and dissect the claptrap. He guides the newcomer towards an understanding of fear, self and motivation. He demonstrates that true, radical Occultism should play a meaningful social role. Magic is to do with people and power. It can be used to help individuals and couples, or communities and the world. Quest Magic shows that Occultism is a great deal more than merely a hobby for eccentrics: it is a religion, a spiritual map and a guide that helps strangers find their way.”
